Biography

“I came across gender stereotypes, while I was still in school, when, for example, a labor teacher told us that girls were taught how to print in order to be to print the dissertations our boy classmates would write. I remember that I got very angry and told myself that I would print my own dissertation.” 

Tamar Tsopurashvili, Professor of Medieval Philosophy at Ilia State University, Director of the Savle Tsereteli Institute of Philosophy, member of SIEPM (Société Internationale pour l’étude de la philosophie Médiévale) and a member of the Eckhart Society, tells us about obstacles in her life, what she had to go through and her scientific career.
